Today’s Writing Woman

Susan is a writer and editor with Today’s Writing Woman in Northern California. She networked with me through a web designer that we both work with and explained her desire to expand her audience and gain exposure to further develop her client list. Susan was open to suggestions regarding all of the design choices on the logo so my original proof set included some extreme contrasts in the colors and typefaces used in order to get a feel for her preferences. Our collaboration and fine tuning over the duration of the project timeline concluded with a one of a kind logo that reflects the style of the business owner and how she wants her company to be perceived by the masses. The open book graphic element is meant to reflect limitless opportunities and openness while the script style of the Recherche typeface brings a personable touch to the design. The bullet pointed tagline describes the service and the mission of the business which is to reflect, revise, and inspire.
